So It Begins…

This past weekend marked the beginning of the end for two prominent things in my life: spare time and money. The release of Guitar Hero 3 was the first of many nails driven into boards that aim keep me in my TV room this winter, with a controller glued to my hands. Don’t believe me? Have you seen the line up for the rest of the year? The end is upon us.
So many games are coming out this holiday season. I consider Guitar Hero 3 to be the first in the line of many games to vacuum the green out of my wallet. If GH3 is any indication of things to come, then I am in for some trouble. After picking the game up, I have already invested so much time into it. I also have an urge to play Halo 3. I am not used to this gaming competition in my head; having to decided which games to choose from. I can only imagine the horrors that will be when Assassin’s Creed, Mass Effect, Call of Duty 4 and Rock Band are lying in front of me as well.
It is a good holiday to be a gamer, but a bad holiday to expect any expensive gifts.
