If you are asking yourself if you read the title of this article right, not only is the answer yes, but it’s a YES! For centuries people have been plagued with the mind blowing question, “Which is better? Stealth or Scallywags? Ninjas or Pirates? Well maybe not centuries, but it’s been a while and it’s time for an answer. On November 1st, Gamecock Media Group announced that it has set the stage in which the titans will duke it out FTW. What is that arena you ask? You say it can’t be? Oh but it can, that’s right. DODGEBALL. Yeah like you had any doubts, seriously you think the gaming gods play Hot Shots Golf on the weekends? No…they play dodgeball….Duh? Now it looks like Pirates vs Ninjas : Dodgeball isn’t coming to Xbox LIVE for a while yet, but we’ve got some eye candy for you!
That’s right. I said Xbox LIVE and eye candy in the same sentence. It looks like Blazing Lizard is looking towards an early 2008 completion date and PvN:Dodgeball will be available via Xbox LIVE Arcade. Contrary to the title, pirates and ninjas won’t be the only characters available, so far it looks like there will be five different classes total. There aren’t a whole lot of specific details when it comes to the actual game play but we do know that game types include Exhibition, Story, and Challenge modes with multiplayer support for 4 players Local / 8 players Online, and 4-player Co-op modes. That’s really all we have for now, take a look at some of the screenshots below and keep your eyes peeled for when this game releases.
