Do you like scavenger hunts? How about the Xbox Elite? Or the Pontiac G6 GXP Coupe? You like those? Well here’s your chance to get some! Microsoft is holding an internet scavenger hunt called “X Marks the Spot”. The hunt started on November 5th 2007, every day 10 clues will be posted on the X Marks the Spot website and you must find the green X’s on the participating websites. Interested? Read on!
There’s going to be a total of 360 clues, at ten clues a day that’s 36 days. Prizes will be given away daily, weekly, and for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. So let’s narrow this down, you have to surf the net….and find green X’s. Can’t be to hard right? Some clues may be harder than others but Xbox does a good job about narrowing it down even further. A list of participating websites is listed and there’s also a really helpful “tips” section to steer you in the right direction. So that’s a general overview of how the game is played but that’s not what’s really important now is it?
