Metal Gear fans out there (such as myself) would be ecstatic to know that Metal Gear 4: Guns of the Patriots, will finally…FINALLY come out! If you guys remember, this was supposed to come out late 2007 but got pushed to Q2 of 2008. Well according to Assitant Producer for Kojima Productions, Ryan Payton, Metal Gear 4 is in it’s “last push†and is going through an extensive bug testing.
“Mr. Kojima of all people is really committed to [the date] because he really hates to disappoint people, and I know he is embarrassed by what happened with the 2007 slip into 2008,†said Payton. Some features may be added, but “for the majority of the team, this is the end.†No other details were disclosed just yet. Which is good… I like a good Metal Gear surprise! The question of Metal Gear for the Xbox 360? Let’s hope not… I mean, as much as I’m starting to like the Xbox 360…let’s hope this remains a Playstation ONLY title please, Mr. Kojima!!
